Why should I trim my wick?

Candle wicks should be trimmed to 1/4” before burning. This will ensure a
safer flame and reduce soot.

What type of wax do you use?

Our candles are made with a high quality paraffin and soy wax blend. Paraffin waxes are petroleum based and are created using fossil fuel, which is extracted from the earth. Soy wax is a vegetable wax made from the oil of soybeans.Paraffin and soy are safe to burn and are considered non-toxic, which means both waxes are not poisonous. 

Why causes a candle to produce black smoke?

Candle soot is composed of elemental carbon particles, and is similar to the soot given off by kitchen toasters and cooking oils. These everyday household sources of soot are not considered a health concern, and are chemically different from the soot formed by the burning of diesel fuel, coal, and gasoline. 

The production of candle soot can also be minimized by: Trimming the wick to 1/4 inch before every use to promote proper flame height, place the candle away from drafty areas to avoid flame flickering, and ensure that the wax pool is free of debris.  

What if my order is damaged in the mail?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately. Email us at
support@shopbluefawn.com. Please include a photo and your order number. Damage claims typically takes up to 3 business days to process.

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted for items up to 30 days from date of purchase. If more than 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or merchandise credit.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

When can I expect my refund?

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.


If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 21 days.

When will I get my order?

It takes 1 - 3 business days to prepare and package orders. Based on location and shipping preference selected at checkout, shipping can take up to 3 - 6 business days. You will receive an email confirmation with tracking details once your order has been shipped.

Do you ship internationally

We do ship internationlly. 

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.  

Can I change or cancel my order?

Once an order is submitted, processing begins and the order can not be cancelled or changed. We sincerely apologize about the inconvenience.

Why was my order cancelled?

Your order or items from your order may be cancelled if billing information can not be verified or if items are sold out.

We do not charge for cancelled items and you will receive an email explaining the reason for cancellation.
